ADDICTION!

OMG! I love coffee! And I live below the Kona coffee belt on the Big Island of Hawaii. There's nothing like good quality fresh ground beans.
It's been a fairly tame addiction. On the surface it looks pretty normal to get up each morning and brew a pot of coffee. It fits right in with fixing a bowl of cereal and popping some bread in the toaster.
But something has happened recently that took the innocense of a cup of coffee to a whole new level...
My room mate came home with one of these:
A stovetop espresso maker. This contraption has taken things to a whole new level. It's got a little filter basket (more like a strainer) inside and you grind the beans extra fine, then pack the grounds into the filter, fill the base with water, then set it on the stove and turn the burner to high. When the water heats up it's forced up through the grounds into the reservoir above. Whew! The results are SO DELICIOUS!! and so VERY POTENT!!!
Now when I'm fixing a "cup" of coffee I have a mental image of a junkie with a spoon and needle.
You want one? This one's MINE!! (oops... guess I've had too much
)
Try it... You'll luv it...
