Over the years I've done some weeding. A few moves from one home to another have left me weary of the whole accumulation gig. I have no desire to have a TV in every room, but I do love movies and there’s nothing like a big screen.
I also love music. Years ago I collected recordings on cassettes. I’d record albums to cassettes, and set the albums aside for safe keeping. CDs came along and I started collecting those - lots of CDs. Then one day I decided I’d rather store my music as MP3s (big project).
The old family photos have all been scanned and digital photos are rarely printed, so it seems that with each passing day I do get closer and closer to becoming a “Digital Man”, and that’s OK with me.
A garden and an iPhone - ultimately that's about what I'd like it all to come down to...
Not the current iPhone, and not necessarily Apple. It could be a Google phone, or whatever brand gets the job done right. It would be rechargeable from a renewable energy source. It would connect (wireless) to some sort of vision eyeglasses, and ear buds and deliver any and all the media that I might wish to interact with - movies, music, phone calls, computer, photos, video, books, magazines, etc. The whole works – digitally.
And then there’s the garden…
So what do you think? Would you like to be a Digital Person?

Sounds kinda lonely
That sounds a bit lonely mister. For a good barn dance, you got to have the whole band!
