Well, I have to be honest, I personally did not drive her here. My cousin on the big Island of Hawaii drove Jani and her sister around for some fresh air. Lynee got injured and needed to get out so my little cruiser buddy was to the rescue. Today she drove them to the precious Painted Church in Honaunau, way down South of Kona.
These paintings were done in the 1800's by father Velghe from Belgum.
He had no formal training and painted three dimensionally from pictures in his mind to teach the Bible to people who did not speak english.
Here is a book about father Velghe and his remarkable vision and faith.
Don't miss this church if you are in Hawaii
